Intermediate MUSIC V4
This course will enable participants gain a greater understanding of the theory behind MUSIC and how it is applied successfully to model stormwater management.
Users will also complete a series of tutorials on various stormwater treatment scenarios and develop a model for a real urban development.
 
Objectives
  • Provide a detailed background on the theory of MUSIC component models
  • Methodologies to use applying MUSIC to urban stormwater management scenarios
  • Give practical experience in configuring MUSIC for modelling different treatment measures
  • Examine stormwater management applications and their benefits and limitations
  • To gain understanding of the differences between MUSIC V3 and V4 and see how they affect the treatment train  
Course includes:
  • Presentation of MUSIC with one of Australia’s foremost WSUD practitioners, Dale Browne
  • Training materials including: MUSIC v4 user manual, Presentation notes, worked examples.
  • Catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)
  • The chance to meet other people in this field and swap ideas and contact details

For maximum benefit we recommend participants complete day 1 of ‘MUSIC V4 Training’ before ‘Assessors Training’ if they are new to the MUSIC model.
