| Headline: | The three-day course comprises lecture presentations, practical demonstrations, hands-on practical and workshop sessions and a field based site assessment and a design exercise. There is ample opportunity for discussion, information exchange and networking with fellow on-site wastewater practitioners. The course is designed for those involved in planning, design, regulation, management, installation and performance supervision of on-site and decentralised wastewater management systems. It is particularly relevant to Environmental Health Officers, Building Inspectors, Plumbing Inspectors, Environmental Managers, Planners, Surveyors, Catchment Managers, Site and Soil Assessors, Environmental and Engineering Consultants as well as on-site systems designers, manufacturers and installation and maintenance technicians. Developed in conjunction with State Government regulatory agencies, the Australian Institute of Environmental Health and the Institution of Surveyors the course is offered widely throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific Region. In excess of 2,500 wastewater professionals have completed the course to date. The program is recognised for Continuing Professional Development by a number of professional bodies and is recognised by State and Regional Government agencies throughout Australasia.
