Overview:

Clearwater’s latest tour showcases a number of exciting Integrated Water Management projects that have been undertaken in the City of Greater Geelong. The tour will include visits to two stormwater harvesting sites that highlight two different approaches; one in a high profile sporting stadium and the second for a valued community asset. The tour will also visit one of the largest growth areas in Victoria where an integrated approach has been taken to water supply, treatment and habitat creation and enhancement.

This tour focuses on the opportunities and challenges in the delivery of stormwater harvesting and IWM projects. You will also hear about the Barwon Region IWCM Forum which is setting the bar for a collaborative inter-organisational approach. Presenters at each of the sites will discuss the issues of engineering, urban design, landscaping, and organisational/community engagement.

Tour will include:

  • Pick up from Melbourne or Geelong
  • Visits to 3 sites
  • Morning tea consisting of freshly baked muffins and fruit
  • Sit down gourmet lunch
