EEA partnered delivery: Construction Hold Points for Water Sensitive Urban Design

Tuesday 20th Feb 2024 - Thursday 22nd Feb 2024 9:00AM - 12:00PM

Online - Zoom

Partnered Delivery

Clearwater and Engineering Education Australia (EEA) has partnered with Clearwater to deliver the popular Construction Hold Points for Water Sensitive Design (WSUD) training.

EEA will host this online training over x 2 three hour sessions:

  • Construction Hold Points for Bioretention Assets will be held on February 20; and
  • Construction Hold Points for Wetlands on February 22.

This partnership aims to increase knowledge of WSUD and Integrated Water Management in the engineering sector and will provide engineers with the opportunity to build up Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

This training is open to Engineers Australia members and non-members.

Course Information

Hold points assessments are an important part of the construction management process to ensure assets are constructed as designed and fully functional at handover.

This course develops the skills for Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) construction management and hold points processes, with a focus on stormwater biofilter / bio-retention systems and treatment wetlands.

You’ll learn how to conduct critical hold points assessments and prepare WSUD assets for handover. You’ll also gain insights into common WSUD construction issues and avoid or mitigate them.

Real-world case studies, tools and resources, and peer discussions will be used to develop a practical understanding of the content that you can apply to your work.
